We are looking for assessors with specialist knowledge across varied parts of the seafood sector. We are also looking for people with expertise in technology, engineering or a related field.
The fund aims to have a diverse pool of assessors to generate valuable feedback and broad analysis of the applications we receive. As such, assessors are welcomed from a wide range of backgrounds, including academia, industry and the public sector.
Other than being an expert in your relevant field, assessors must adhere to the following conditions:
The deadline for a second call for applications has been extended and is now open until 26 June 2020. The assessment period for this funding call will therefore run during July and August 2020, but is subject to change if there are additional extenuating circumstances arising from the coronavirus pandemic. You must be available to complete assessments during this period and adhere to the timetable provided by us.
There will be additional calls for applications to the fund during 2020 and 2021 and we are also looking to hear from applicants who are happy to also assess future applications.
Yes, you will be paid £100 for each application you assess.
Payment is subject to approval by the SIF management team, based on completion of assessments to the required standard and within the timelines provided.
